Beth E. DaSilva

President

 

Beth DaSilva is president and founder of Fleetridge Pacific, a Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions advisory firm based in San Diego, California. She has over 20 years experience both managing and advising Healthcare companies.

 

She has undergraduate degrees in Business Administration and Accounting and specialized education related to risk management, insurance, securities, mergers and acquisitions and financial planning. Her experience has centered on corporate growth and development, business analysis and valuation, and structuring of company acquisitions and divestitures.

 

Beth's early career started in healthcare management when she worked with a group of ophthalmologists at the Eye Centers of Florida. Her responsibilities involved overseeing growth and development of their optical and contact lens division which eventually grew to thirteen locations throughout Florida. 

 

She later joined the family business, Morning Star Home Health Care, a Homecare agency started by her parents and located in Naples, Florida. She assumed the role of VP Administrator and helped to triple the revenue of the company over an 8 year period. The company was eventually sold and she joined Merrill Lynch as a securities licensed Financial Advisor, providing financial planning services to business owners and high net worth individuals.

 

Following her work with Merrill Lynch, she began working in healthcare mergers and acquisitions and subsequently founded Fleetridge Pacific. Beth thoroughly enjoys working with successful business owners and is motivated by their entrepreneurial drive.  

 

Beth is currently a member of the California Association of Business Brokers, California Association of Health Services at Home, the National Association of Home Care & Hospice, Health Financial Managers,  Association and the San Diego Chamber of Commerce.

 

 

 

Eloise Maun, MSN, R.N.

Senior Clinical Consultant

 

Eloise brings a broad base of clinical knowledge to our consulting team with prior management and consulting experience with Home Health agencies and Skilled nursing facilities. She graduated from Governors State University with a Master of Science degree in nursing as a  member of Sigma Theta Tau Honors Society. 

 

Her work experience includes ten years as the director of a long term care facility and several years a state and federally certified nursing surveyor for the state of Indiana. She has surveyed Home Health agencies, hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers and rural health clinics.  More recently she held the position of director of corporate compliance for a Chicago based home health agency.  When that agency was acquired by a publicly traded company, she took on the role of national corporate director of clinical operations for the acquiring company with the primary responsibility of assisting in the transition of newly acquired companies' clinical operations.

 

Eloise understands the healthcare regulatory environment and has a history of working with providers to exceed regulatory requirements while helping them remain fiscally responsible and adaptable to the ever changing environment of third party reimbursement and government regulation. She is a motivating team leader who consistently approaches difficult situations with a systematic problem solving approach.

HOT OFF THE WIRE:

March 8, 2010 -- Home health provider Gentiva (Nasdaq: GTIV) said Monday that it has acquired Heart to Heart Hospice of Mississippi and plans to expand the business throughout the north, central and southern regions of the state. That would double the coverage area from 22 to 44 Mississippi counties. Net revenues at the hospice last year totaled about $4 million. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. Gentiva said it is not expected to have a material impact on 2010 operating results.

April 5, 2010 -- Amedisys (Nasdaq: AMED) announced Monday it acquired an Alabama hospice agency from Bluewater Healthcare Inc.Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Amedisys, which is based in Baton Rouge, La., said the deal is not expected to add materially to earnings this year.


April 5, 2010 -- LHC Group, Inc. (Nasdaq: LHCG), one of the largest providers of home health services in the United States, announced that on April 1, 2010, it completed its previously announced acquisition of 100% of the assets of Salem Hospital Home Care located in Salem, Oregon.
